Live Music at The Israel Green Tavern at Olive Ridley’s

Come join The Battle of Plattsburgh for a night of live music at The Israel Green Tavern at Olive Ridley’s. Tavern doors open at 3 pm.

Tavern entry requires a Battle of Plattsburgh Commemorative Button. You can purchase your $15 button with cash or check made out to the City of Plattsburgh beginning August 21st at:

The music schedule is as follows:

4:00-5:00 pm TOO TALL STRING BAND: A Tavern favorite, Too Tall String Band was formed 34 years ago, in 1984.Too Tall performs traditional English, Scottish and Irish pub tunes and sing-alongs plus a number of traditional Celtic dance tunes all over northern & central New York, southern Quebec and northern Vermont.

5:30-6:30 pm JOSEE ALLARD: When asked what kind of music she plays, Josee answers with: “What kind of music does Sheryl Crow play? It’s hard to answer because it’s a mix of many different genres like folk, country, pop and blues yet her sound is unmistakably hers.” Performing with musical partner and percussionist, Erik Van Yserloo, this British Columbia native and singer-songwriter has been hailed as a female Jack Johnson. Josee and Erik play feel good, acoustic blues rock music.

7:00-8:00 pm SVEN CURTH: From his years at the Berklee College of Music in the 1990s, throughout his twenties with touring rock band “Jim” as the songwriter, singer and lead guitarist, to a solo career, Sven has produced three albums and countless live performances. Sven is an accomplished Adirondack blues folk performer. His music is a soulful blend of country, swing, bluegrass, blues, jazz, folk, rock and rockabilly.

8:30-9:45 pm FULTON’S FOLLY: Fulton’s Folly (the group formerly known as Compass Rose) plays country, pop, rock & roll, blues, bluegrass, and folk. Lead singer, Erena Fulton, is a retired teacher who plays guitar and bass. Retired USAF Colonel Bob Bunnell plays bass, occasional lead guitar, harmonica and sings harmony. Steve Fulton, another retired USAF Colonel, sings lead, harmony and plays rhythm guitar, banjo, ukulele, and bass.
